Hello, friends! I am really excited to share some fun projects that I made with the new Turn the Page release from Esther Glas and Spellbinders. This is a fabulous and HUGE collection that is great for making keepsakes, scrapbook pages, journal pages, or just happy little cards like I made today. I will be focusing on the new CardLab Box and the Torn Edges CardLab Die Set that I used to make the cards. I will be back soon with larger projects to put in the new Binder.

I had a lot of fun creating my CardLab Box. It is so easy to put together, and I can’t wait to make more. I painted the inside and decorated the outside and top edges with patterned paper. I also added a lot of rub-ons to the outside, including the label.
My projects today all use the Torn Edges CardLab Die Set, although I also used bits and pieces from a bunch of the other sets. I really wanted to stick to what I love and what my style is, and there are so many fun ways to create cards for this box. Some of my cards are double-sided, with more simple things on the back. I plan on using my favorite dies and products on these cards – this first box is something that I will be keeping for myself. It is a great way to use your stash, especially if you’re like me, and you have tons of ephemera, patterned paper, and stamps that you’ve never used! I have some silly sentiment stamps in my stash, many of which I never really know what to do with (but of course I had to buy them). So, this card is going to make me giggle when I look at it. This uses one of my all-time favorite Spellbinders club kits – the Cozy Toes Slippers. The cows are from the coordinating Cozy Toes Friends set. The sentiment is from Riley & Company. The patterned paper is from the Reminiscence Book 10 Patterned Cardstock, and the clip is from the Page with Flap Pocket set.
This collection is great for scrapbooking, but I am not a big scrapbooker. This particular card, though, is definitely documenting one of my favorite memories from a hiking trip. I was in the Tetons with a group of people trying to catch the last boat of the day, and there was a bear taking his own sweet time walking down the trail. I have several pictures of him. PLUS, bears are my favorite animal. This bear stamp from the Wild Friends Stamp Set was just perfect, and I found a frame in my vast stash of ephemera to highlight his face. I used stamps, rub-ons and dies from the Turn the Page collection to embellish the card.
Raise your hand if you are a Doodlebug Doodle Pop addict! Now raise your hand again if you’ve never really known what to do with them! These cards are the perfect thing to make use of my Doodle Pops. These dimensional stickers always make me smile, but now I can actually create something with them, and I will actually see them since they won’t be stashed away in a bucket anymore.
