My first card features several new goodies, but the star of the card is the Gone Golfing Die. The golf course is courtesy of the new Wavy Lines Vertical A7 Die. I did give the wave pieces texture by first die cutting the green panel with the A7 Piercing Texture Die. The clouds in the sky are a bit of a surprise because they look stenciled, right? And they are…but not from a stencil. I used the new Cloud Background Die and used the die cut piece as a stencil. There are so many fun ways to use this die!
For the sentiment, I used the new Your Day Sentiments Combo, one of many fabulous sentiment sets this month. This large sentiment is similar to the “It’s a Girl” and “It’s a Boy” from last month’s Baby Announcement Sentiments Combo.
My second card features the new Reel In Die set, but instead of using the human hand to hold the fishing rod, I let Mr. Happy Lobster hold it. I created the background for this 5×7 card with the new Wavy Lines Vertical A7 Die. I chose another sentiment from the new Your Day Sentiments Combo, and then I added a subsentiment with the Fishing Puns Combo set. The frame is from the A7 Stitched Rectangles Die Set. This was such a fun card to make!
