Hello, friends. Raise your hand if you love Christmas in July! It is my favorite time of year for card making because, of course, I love making holiday cards. Today, I am going to be sharing a few of the July clubs from Spellbinders. I am always looking for reasons to make tunnel cards, and these clubs are just perfect for making the adorable scenes.
EARLY ACCESS
Are you already a club member or thinking of joining one of the clubs? One of the great benefits to being a club member is that you have early access to new products before they become available to the general public! CLICK HERE to see all the collections for July. There are soooo many fabulous things releasing this month. You know I love “cute”, so one of my favorites is the Spectacular Christmas Collection. There is also a new holiday card making kit! Really, there is too much to be able to list all my favorites. I will be sharing new collections starting on July 10th!
NEW VIDEO
Let’s move on to the tunnel cards. I do have a new YouTube video sharing these cards. You can CLICK HERE to view it on YouTube, or you can view it below.
NOTE: all supplies are linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.
If you live outside of the United States/North America, you might want to head over to the Spellbinders UK website.

My first card features the Small Die of the Month, called “Snow Much Fun.” Aren’t these penguins adorable?? Instead of trying to explain in words how to make the tunnel card, I am going to encourage you to watch the video. To make the openings for your tunnel cards, just dive into your stash to find the shape openings that you like. I have used all sorts of shapes to make tunnel card openings. But today, I stuck with rectangular shapes. The fun shape on the pink layer is from the Squiggly Rectangle Frames from Hero Arts. The sentiment is from the Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Club, called “Cue the Merry”.
MORE TUNNEL CARD VIDEOS: I did get the measurements for my cards today from the last tunnel card that I made. You can watch that video HERE. If you want to see my first video where I used some really fun openings and made LOTS of tunnel cards, CLICK HERE.

My second card features the Large Die of the Month called “Merry Shuffle.” This kit features Santa, a tree and an elf, but I did not use the elf. I made more of an outdoor scene, so I grabbed the little snowman from one of the bonus sets that come with the July All-Clubs Crate. The shape for the front window comes from the Playful Stitched Panels – I used the second largest die from that set to create the opening. I found a couple dies that result in “leftover” tiny circles that you would normally throw away, but you know I don’t like throwing anything away, and these tiny circles made the perfect snow!
To finish the card, I chose another sentiment from the Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Club, which I heat embossed on black card stock.
I hope these cards bring a smile to your face today. Leave me a comment and let me know which card is your favorite! As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog.
Wishing you all a crafty day,
Allison
