Hello, friends! I hope you’re all doing well. Today, I am sharing several cards and a new video taking a look at several of the new Christmas in July collections from Spellbinders. In my video, I also test out several new tools/supplies. Check out the end of this blog post for information on those. The new collections include:
CLUB ARCHIVES SALE
Spellbinders is offering many of its past club kits at 30% off in the From the Archives Sale! If you are an active club member, you will also get an extra 25% off! There are some great clubs in this sale, including my number one favorite club…the Cozy Toes Slippers set, which was the Oct ’24 Large Die of the Month. The Wrapped in Care set (the Dec ’25 Large Die of the Month) is also on sale – people have had so much fun with that set! Spellbinders is also offering free shipping on U.S. orders of $100 or more.
NEW VIDEO
Let’s move on to my card for today, which is featured in my new video. You can CLICK HERE to view it on YouTube, or you can view it below.
NOTE: all supplies are linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.
If you live outside of the United States/North America, you might want to head over to the Spellbinders UK website.

The Spectacular Christmas collection is one of my favorites this month. There are 3 critters and a Santa included in the collection, and there is an “I want it all bundle” My first card features the Spectacular Bear, which is the set that you need if you want the other critters to have bodies. This is the only critter set with the body. The bear does come with glasses, but these glasses are actually from the Spectacular Penguin set. The patterned paper at the bottom is from the Dear Santa 12″ x 12″ Paper Pack. Note that there is a 6×6 pack, as well, which is what is included in the Dear Santa 2026 Annual Holiday Mega Kit.
What I really love about these “spectacular” critters, and mainly the bear since that is the one that comes with the body, is that you can have them holding lots of different things and make cards for different occasions. It doesn’t have to be for Christmas. I made a really fun birthday card, but you’ll have to check out the video for now to see that. I will be sharing it in a blog post in the next month or so when a new collection releases.

My second card features the Spectacular Deer. I did not use the body from the bear for this card because I was going for a masculine “deer mounted on the wall” idea. Maybe this card is too sweet to be masculine, but I think I would still give it to one of my guy friends. This card started with the new A2 Ornate Molded Frame 3D Embossing Folder from Yana Smakula’s new Christmas Cats Collection. It is just gorgeous! There is another folder in the collection that you’ll see me use for a card in the video – the A2 Herringbone Decor 3D Embossing Folder.
I did add spots to my deer using my favorite “tool”, which is the sponge die from the Squeaky Clean die set. In fact, I used the sponge for all of the cards in my video today! The sentiment comes from the Spectacular Holiday Sentiments Stamp & Die Set.

Something else that I shared in my video is the new Deep Stax Large Tray Set. You may already know that I am a big fan of the Craft Stax Large Tray Set (and the medium set). I have these in a drawer next to my work station, and they store lots of things, from my small detail ink brushes to sentiment strips to the dies that I reach for on a regular basis and more. Well, these new Deep Stax are the same size as those original large trays, but they are way deeper (thus, the name)! Spellbinders also has several special inserts for these containers, but I have other plans for at least one of mine. Check out my video to see these trays, the inserts, and my ideas for them.
Spellbinders has also released small and large Card Spinners. I have such a fun plan for using these, but for now, you can see me test them in my video.
I hope my cards and video bring a smile to your face today. As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog.
Wishing you all a crafty day,
Allison
