Hello, friends! I hope you have been doing well. Today is release day for  Waffle Flower, and it is another fabulous one! This is the Green Thumb release, and it’s perfect for those who love gardening, or for those like me who know a lot of people who love gardening. I do not have a green thumb (at all), but that didn’t stop me from falling in love with this collection. I have a new video sharing two cards and a lot of the new products. You’ll see me assemble the Happy Gnomes in my video. I know a lot of people (including me) who are going to love this set. The focal points for my two cards today include the Seed Packet Die and the Garden Backdrop Die.

NOTE: all supplies are linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.

My first card features the Seed Packet Die. I love this die set because you can create a really pretty card like I did, or you can create a fun shaker card, or you can just create some really colorful seed packets in colors that coordinate with the vegetables from the Seed Packet Icons Die set. I went with an older die set for the icon on my seed packet – the Layered Daisy Die – because it coordinates with the patterned paper that I used in the background. The paper is from the Daisy Art Backgrounds 8×8 pad from Stamperia. I also added a sweet little dragonfly from the new Postage Collage Garden Critters Die. My sentiment comes from the Postage Collage Seeds Details Stamp Set, which also has a matching die

My second card features the fun wheelbarrow from the Garden Backdrop Die. I chose to pair this with some dies that came out earlier this spring – the Tall Grass Die and the Basketful of Bunny Duo. I filled the wheelbarrow with carrots from the Seed Packet Icons set, along with some herbs from the Happy Herbs Die. The cute little tool comes from the Postage Collage Gardening Add-ons, and the fun little “Yay” sign comes from the Plant Marker Combo. The main sentiment comes from the Green Thumb Sentiments Combo. Finally, I added a small dragonfly from the Postage Collage Garden Critters Die. By the way, I cut all of these elements from white card stock and did some simple ink blending.

I hope these projects bring a smile to your face today. As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog.

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison
