Hello, friends! I hope you have been doing well. Today is release day for  Waffle Flower, and I am just so in love with this Under the Sea Release. I have had so much fun making cards – it was hard to stop! I have a new video sharing two of the cards, but I do have several others to share in this blog post today, and I’ll try to put together another video very soon. There are lots of new stencils, stamp sets and dies this month. I really think they knocked it out of the park (or the ocean). For the two cards that I am sharing in today’s video, I used the following new products:

NOTE: all supplies are linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.

This first card features one of the amazing stencils from the release – the Under the Sea Background Stencil. Even though this stencil is designed for an A2 panel, you can get creative and use it on a larger panel. Watch my video to see how I used it on this A7 Fringe Die. And how adorable is this Happy Lobster Die? I just love him. I added some fun eyes from my stash – they’re kind of like googly eyes. The sentiment is from the new Bubbly Sentiments Combo

This card features one of my favorite new products in the release – the Coral Reef Die-n-stencil. Waffle Flower always does such a great job with their matching die and stencil sets, and this is no exception. They make it so easy, even suggesting colors on the stencils themselves. I added clear, shiny bubbles with the Happy Bubbles Stencil and Altenew’s Crystal 3D Gel. The seaweed and tiny yellow fish are also from the Coral Reef die, but I did pull in a few other fish from the new Postage Collage Fish Die. The fun sentiment is from the Bubbly Sentiments Combo, which I embossed on black card stock.

I don’t make square cards enough, but I felt like this card called for it. I really wanted to show as much of this fun background as possible. The panel itself is about 5.25″ square, and the overall finished card is 5.75″ square. The background panel came from my stash. When I make backgrounds, I like to make a lot at once and then put them in my stash for when I need them. This particular panel has been in there awhile, and it was waiting for the perfect project. I think I picked the right one! This was the result of sprays – I’m guessing Distress Spray Stains. CLICK HERE for the video which shows a bunch of the panels I made with sprays. I’m not sure if this particular one made it into the video, but you’ll see how easy it is to make a background like this.

This next card features the following products:

I will be sharing these last two cards in a future video. They both feature the Jolly Wave Bundle. What I love about this bundle is that you can use each of the three products separately, or you can pair just two of them like I did with this card. This card features the following products:

This last card features all three products from the Jolly Wave Bundle. I just love the results, and it’s so easy! Again, I will be sharing this in a future video. This card features the following products:

I hope these projects bring a smile to your face today. As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog.

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison
