Hello, friends! I am popping back in today to share the May 2026 monthly club kits from Spellbinders. The clubs this month are really fun, and I decided to do something a little different. I am mashing up the clubs with the new Lisa Horton Summertime collection. This collection was released on May 1st, so it is available to everyone now. See below for information on the May collections that come out on the 10th.
EARLY ACCESS
Are you already a club member or thinking of joining one of the clubs? One of the great benefits to being a club member is that you have early access to new products before they become available to the general public! CLICK HERE to see all the collections for May. One of my favorites is the Shiny New Day Collection – it’s so unique and adorable. This was the collection that was recently featured in the Spring Crop & Create event with Kim Kesti. I will be sharing new collections starting on May 10th!
NEW VIDEO
Let’s move on to my cards for today. I do have a new YouTube video sharing these cards. You can CLICK HERE to view it on YouTube, or you can view it below.
NOTE: all supplies are linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.
If you live outside of the United States/North America, you might want to head over to the Spellbinders UK website.

My first card features the Large Die of the Month called “Pop of Summer.” This kit features a fun scene with a soda can, a bird, a straw, and various other things to have coming out of the soda can. I decided to have some flowers come out of the can, so I chose the new Stargazers Die Set. These are such pretty flowers, although I did take a little bit of liberty with the colors. I love how all of this pops against that navy card base! The sentiment is from the Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Club, called “Burst of Summer”.

My second card features the cute critters from the Small Die of the Month, called “Ready to Roll.” This kit features a cute suitcase that the critters peek out from. I decided to have them peeking out of something else, so I grabbed the new Ripped Edge Circles and used two of them to cut holes into a card panel. I then used the circles that I made the holes with, in addition to the next sized smaller circles, to create a different color frame to put around the openings. The sentiments, both stamped and die cut, come from the Love and Hugs Sentiments Stamp & Die Set.

One of my favorite products in the new Lisa Horton collection is the Open Lace Frame and Landscapes. There is a cute frame, a couple rounded rectangle dies, and four border landscape dies. I cut a panel of white card stock with the largest rounded rectangle, and then I used the cloud border die to make three cuts into the panel. I ink blended two of the areas light blue and…voila – an adorable little sky scene! I paired it with the cute bird from the Large Die of the Month. The sentiment is from the Clear Stamp & Die of the Month. The bottom, textured panel was made with the Embossing Folder of the Month, called “Poolside”.

You didn’t think I was going to pass up an opportunity to add a critter from my Summer Camp Collection to a little scene, did you? This time, I used three of the border dies from the Open Lace Frame and Landscapes to cut the rounded rectangle panel. I ink blended the resulting pieces to create the cute and simple scene. I did use a circle die to add a little sun, and then I mounted the panel on top of the frame that comes with the die set. The sentiment is from my Summertime Sentiments set.
I hope these cards bring a smile to your face today. Leave me a comment and let me know which card is your favorite! As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog.
Wishing you all a crafty day,
Allison
