Hello, friends! Today, I am sharing two cards that feature a few products from the new Fresh Picked Collection from Spellbinders. They both also feature a unique border design.

I have a new video on YouTube sharing how I made these cards. For today’s video, you can CLICK HERE to view on YouTube or watch it below.

Both of my cards today feature the Fresh Picked Buttercups and Fresh Picked Sentiments die sets. For the border on my first card, I used the largest scallop die from the new Heartfelt Thanks & Scallops die set. Because the die is smaller than an A2 card base, I needed to do partial die cutting. Check out the video to see how I did that! I only used a few of the dies from the Fresh Picked Buttercups set, since it was the straight edges of these particular flowers that inspired me to create these border designs. I used the “hello” from the Fresh Picked Sentiments, and I added a stamped subsentiment from the Hi There Greetings stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.

I created the second card in the same way as the first using the same sets of products. For the border on this card, I used the Color Block Scenic Scape die set from Spellbinders. I didn’t realize that this set was retired, but it’s basically just a set of three different hill-shaped dies. You could also just cut your own border shape – get creative! This time, I chose the “smile” from the Fresh Picked Sentiments set. The stamped subsentiment comes from the Oversized Smile Stamp Set from Waffle Flower Crafts.

I hope these cards put a smile on your face today! Leave me a comment and let me know which border is your favorite. As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog and YouTube channel

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison
