Hello, friends! I hope you’re all having a great week. The Spellbinders Monthly Clubs are here, and it’s time for new members to sign up! This month’s clubs are full of autumn and Halloween fun. Remember that one of the major benefits of the Spellbinders clubs is that you can cancel at any time and rejoin if/when you want.

I have TWO new videos up today on YouTube sharing the Small Die of the Month  and the Large Die of the Month.   The videos show how I created the backgrounds for all of my cards. It was a lot of fun playing with my Distress Spray Stains and Oxide Sprays for the first time in awhile. For today’s videos, you can CLICK HERE to view on YouTube or just watch them below. I suggest watching Part 1 first!

The Large Die of the Month, which is named “Boo-Licious Fall Cupcake,” is a lot of fun and comes packed with dies to create so many different kinds of Halloween and fall-themed cards. I made a really fun cupcake for my first card, and then I made a spooky, but still fun, scene for my second card. To add sparkle to my cupcake, I used my Pop-Up Die Cutting Glitter Foam Sheets for the first time. And to add that element of spookiness to my second card, I used some fringe and mummy cloth from Tim Holtz! At one point in my first video, you’ll get a glimpse of my desk as I was working on about four cards at the same time! I still have to finish a couple cards where I am using  just the ghosts and just the leaves from this set. So many combinations and possibilities!

The Small Die of the Month for September is called “Hiking Through the Meadows,” and this one is right up my alley! Hiking and fall? Yes, please!! To mimic the look of real suede or Nubuck hiking boots, I die cut my elements from flock transfer sheets. And yes, my real pair of hiking shoes are blue! To see how I laced up the boots with actual string, make sure to watch the video

My second project featuring this fun hiking boot is a tag that I made using some paper from the super-fun Doodlebug Great Outdoors Collection.

One last project that I am unable to share yet because it is not quite finished is a card that I inked up using the September 3D Embossing Folder of the Month, which is called “Mushroom Harvest.” This is a really beautiful embossing folder, and I hope to finish that card soon. Be on the lookout on my Instagram page for it!

I hope these cards put a smile on your face today. Leave me a comment and let me know which September club kit is your favorite! I appreciate you visiting today.

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison
