Hello, friends! I am back today to share some new products from the Simon Says Stamp release called “Beautiful Days.” I created four cards for today’s release, and I have the details in my new YouTube video! You can view the video below.

Note: all supplies are linked in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.

My first card features the new Geo Flower Building Stamp Set. I am in LOVE with this stamp set! So many possibilities…it was actually difficult to stop my brain from thinking of too many things. I decided to keep this one simple and just create a pattern with one of the stamps. I used Pinkfresh Studio inks in Sparkling Rose and Sweet Mustard. I think this would look really cool in a terra cotta and turquoise color scheme – kind of like Spanish tile!

I used the new Bold Geometrics Stencil for the second card.  I ink blended the stencil design with Pinkfresh Studio inks in Sparkling Rose, Sweet Mustard and Mint. I used the same inks to lightly color the mushroom tops from the Mushroom Stems Die Set that was released last month. I used Pumice Stone Distress Ink for the stems. My sentiment comes from the Hi There Greetings stamp and die set.

My third card is a clean and simple design featuring the new Delicate Florals Die. I paired it with a piece of card stock from the new Pastel Color Blend Cardstock Assortment. I used a die cut inlay technique for the florals, coloring the individual pieces with my OLO markers. I used black glossy card stock for the miss you word die. I finished the card with some pearl embellishments

My last card features the “Sisters Forever” Stamp Set. This is another fabulous sentiment set from CZ Design. I used an alcohol ink background that I made a couple months ago – I’ve been saving it for something special! I heat embossed the sentiment onto the front of a square card base with gold embossing powder. I used the  Inverted Stitched Scallop Circle Die Set from Pinkfresh Studio to cut the scallop frame out of my alcohol ink background. I then cut the same frame out of three pieces of white card stock so that I could pop the frame up for dimension. I added gold foil pearls to the scallop design to finish up the card.

I hope these cards put a smile on your face today. Be sure to check out all of the other goodies and inspiration from the new Beautiful Days Release! Head over to my YouTube video, where you’ll see me working on different aspects of these cards. I also show off the new Half Sheet Cardstock Sleeves from the collection. I appreciate you visiting my blog today!

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison
