NOTE: all supplies are linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.

My first card features the beautiful new Sunflower Bouquet Die. I opted to add multiple colors for my flowers with various inks, and I love how it turned out. I framed my bouquet with the new NPC Frames Die. I cut the frame from the same dark cardstock that I used for the card base, and the colors of the flowers just pop! The sentiment is from the new Sunshine Days Sentiments Combo.

My second card features the new Owl Duo Die-n-stencil and the Autumn Branch Die set. I cut all of the dies from white card stock and then ink blended the colors. You can see in the video how I added more dimension to the owl. The panel and frame is from the A7 Stitched Rectangles Die Set. I once again chose a dark color for the background so that my die cuts would pop. I ink blended some darker ink at the top to create the feeling of nighttime, and then I splattered the panel with gold splatter. I heat embossed the sentiment from the new Real Hoot Sentiments Combo.

My next card features the Postage Collage Haunted House Silhouette Stamp Set. I just love all the silhouette stamps that Waffle Flower offers, and this one is especially fun! The ghosts, bats and skull come from the Postage Collage Spooktacular Icons. The sentiments (both stamped and die-cut) are from the new Spellcial Sentiments Combo. I inked up the background panel with the Postage Collage A6 Airmail Stencil, and then I framed it with the Postage Collage A6 Blocks Die. I actually offset two of these blocks dies for a different look. I glued the panel to a piece of patterned paper, and I think this is such a fun, spooky card.

This last card is a bit silly, but it sure was fun to make! I really fell in love with the voodoo doll from the new Happy Haunting Cat Die set and was initially going to go in a spooky direction. But, I’m a nerd, so of course I started researching voodoo dolls. How fascinating it was to learn about the positive energy and healing powers of these dolls, as well as the meaning of the different colors. I may have lost a few hours when I was supposed to be actually making cards, but yes, I am easily distracted! I took a deep dive into my stash for all the elements on this card – you can see me go over it all in my video. I really wanted a sentiment that was more along the lines of “Sending Positive Vibes”, but I think the one I used works, too, and I love the look of the mixed fonts. This is from the Window Sentiments Stamp Set that came out a couple months ago.

I hope these cards bring a smile to your face today. As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog.

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison
