Hello, friends! I am back today sharing another new collection from Spellbinders called Simon’s Space Adventure. This fun collection was designed by Simon Hurley, and I paired it with one of my favorite collections from last year, the Tunnel Scapes Collection.

I used the following products from the Space Adventure collection for my cards:

I do have a new video showing how I made these cards. You can CLICK HERE to watch on YouTube, or you can view below.

NOTE: all supplies are linked in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.

My first card features the rocket from the To the Moon set. I used the Rainbow Slice Tunnel from the Tunnel Scapes Collection to create the colorful exhaust coming out of the rocket. I added some Nuvo Crystal Glaze on the window to make it shiny. The sentiment comes from the Typewriter Adventure Sentiments Stamp Set, which is what I used for all of my cards today.

My second card features the UFO Friend Die Set. This set has a really fun UFO, which I have not used yet. I did use the cute little alien, along with the planet from the set. The moon comes from the To the Moon set, and I created the third “balloon” using the stars from the To The Moon set. I turned these planets into balloons using elements from my favorite balloon set, the Color Block Balloons. I use this set a lot to make non-balloon elements into balloons! The “earthling” word die is from the cute Space Greetings Die Set.

My last card features the Starry Night 3D Emboss & Cut and Stencil Bundle. The embossing folder is also sold separately. I used the Rainbow Slice Tunnel set and the Underwater Tunnel  set from the Tunnel Scapes Collection to create my borders around my starry sky. The planet comes from the UFO Friend set. I used Pinkfresh Studio inks to stencil the stars, using the following colors: Sweet Mustard, Apricot, and Ocean Breeze.

I hope these cards bring a smile to your face today. Leave a comment and let me know which one is your favorite. As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog today.

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison

  1. Hi, A –
I LOVE all of these!! How clever you are to match up the Rainbow Slice Tunnel (I think of it as the underwater cove die set) with Simon’s new goodies. SO GOOD! I love what you’ve made and may have to copy it … a lot!
