Hello, friends! The weather outside is crummy, and I’m still dealing with a cold, so I decided to cheer myself up by making these fun, summery shakers! I used some new products from Waffle Flower’s August release. I will include details below, but you can watch me make these in my latest YouTube video. You can view it below or CLICK HERE to watch it on YouTube.

Note: all supplies are linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.

Both cards use the same products from Waffle Flower, including:

I used two dies from the Lacy Circles Die Set. I used the 4.25″ die to fit inside of the Shaker Cover. I used the 5″ scalloped circle for the card base. This die set is sold out, and I’m not sure when/if it will be restocked. A good alternative that should give you the sizes that you need is the Layered Circle Die Set from Pink & Main. This is a huge set of 21 dies, with the largest circle at 5.5″!

It was really easy to use the Oversized Fruit Stencils with my 4.25″ circles. I used Distress Inks to color them. I did use black pigment ink for the stencil that created the watermelon seeds. Once I had colored the round, fruity circles, it was really easy to create the shakers with the 4.25″ Shaker Covers and some Scor-Tape. I used 4mm sequins from Pretty Pink Posh to fill my shakers.

I used the fun Fruity Pun Sentiments stamp set for my inside sentiments and the Fruit Sentiments stamp set for the outside sentiment. The Fruit Sentiments have a matching die set, or you can buy them as a combo

I had so much fun making these cards! I hope they put a big smile on your face today. Let me know which one is your favorite. You’ll have to watch the video to find out which one I like better! Thanks so much for visiting today.

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison
