Hello, friends. I am back with more Christmas in July inspiration! This time, I am sharing some cards that I made with the Spellbinders Make It Merry Holiday Cardmaking Kit  and add-ons. This kit is HUGE, and I am really enjoying it.

I made my first unboxing video, which is up on YouTube. I have never done an unboxing video before – it was fun! And hopefully not terribly boring – ha ha! You can CLICK HERE to view on YouTube or just watch it below.

Note: all supplies are linked in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.

Everything on this first card is from the Make It Merry Kit, except for the gold embellishments. There are definitely a lot of traditional Christmas colored elements in the card kit, but as soon as I saw this woodgrain paper, the car, and all of the gold-foiled elements, I had to pick this color scheme! The gold foil paper on my card is even from the card kit.

Making tags from this kit is so easy, especially since there are tag bases (like the pink one I used in the picture above) included in the kit.

I made the card pictured above using not just the kit, but also one of the add-ons – the Make It Merry Floral Die Cuts. The sentiment, jar with the candle, gold puffy stars, and patterned paper are all from the kit itself.

My last card features the Make It Merry Add-On Bundle, which includes the In the Pines Embossing Folder, the Make It Merry Florals Die Set, and the Make It Merry Sentiments. These can be purchased individually or together in the bundle. Everything on the card pictured above was from this bundle, except for the pearl embellishments. I love this embossing folder! It gives such a beautiful, yet subtle texture. I lightly ran my brayer over my embossed panel with some Antique Linen Distress Oxide just to bring out some of the detail.

I hope these cards put a smile on your face today. I’ll be back soon with more Christmas in July inspiration!

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison
