NOTE: all supplies are linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.

My first card features the new Happy Drum Die. I went with traditional Christmas colors on this card, and I’m so glad that I did! The colors are just so rich looking, aren’t they? I used the NPC Frames Die to add some beautiful dimension and texture to the design. Behind the frame, I used the new Joyful Notes Die. The sentiment is from the new Nutcracker Sentiments Combo.

My second card features the new Nutcracker Die. I made a fun postage stamp with him. I pulled one of my favorite word dies, the Overlapping Vertical Merry Word, to pair with it. And speaking of overlapping, I did overlap the die itself onto another that I cut from black card stock. I love creating faux drop shadows like this.

I created the postage stamp itself from the Nesting Postage Layers Die. I stamped a few elements on the panel. The “Christmas” is from the new Simply Christmas Stamp Set. The Delivery stamp at the top comes from the Postage Collage North Pole Stamp Set. I also stamped some postage detail on the red A2 card base – this comes from the Oversized Postage Stamp Set.

My last card features a few elements from the new Postage Collage Christmas Icons Die set.  The poinsettia flower, the bow on the pot, and the details on the gnome’s hat all come from that Icons set. I paired the poinsettia plant with the larger gnome from the Happy Gnomes die set. The hat that comes in that set is plain, and I used the hat die from the new Icons set to give it more detail. The pot and the leaves come from the Pots and Plants Die set.

I mounted my elements with foam tape on top of two nesting layers from the A2 Piercing Elongated Ovals Die. This is not an A2 card base, though. It measures 4″ x 5.75″. I finished the card with a sentiment from the Simply Christmas Combo.

I hope these cards bring a smile to your face today. As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog.

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison
