I do have a new video showing how I made my cards today. You can CLICK HERE to watch on YouTube, or you can view below.

NOTE: all supplies are linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.

This first card features the entire Cozy Spot Bundle, which is made up of the Cozy Spot Die, the Cozy Spot Add-ons, the Cozy Spot Pets, and the Cozy Spot Coloring Stencil. These products are sold separately or together in the bundle. The main set makes it so easy to create a scene, although you know me – I stepped things up a bit. You’ll see in the video all the details and custom touches that I added. I used a combination of inks today – Distress Inks, Altenew inks, and Pinkfresh Studios inks. I am definitely partial to those three companies, as I prefer felt pads, but after that, it’s more about the colors. Again, the video will show what colors I used for everything. The yellow chair represents the yellow leather chair and ottoman that we have in our family room, but if I were truly representing our home, there would be more dogs! I think this would make a fabulous Father’s Day card or a masculine birthday card.

For my second card, I used a few items from the Cozy Spot Die (along with the dog from the Cozy Spot Pets), but I created my own floor from patterned paper. I also used a panel that I created last month with the Dashed Lattice Texture Die and Dashed Lattice Hearts Stencil. You can see how I flocked the stencil in this video. I love the texture that it gives to my “wallpaper.” I also used the new Postage Collage Frames Die, which has a bunch of different sized frames perfect for framing all of those Postage Collage stencil images that you might have in your stash! I decided to frame this cute dotted heart from the Inside Accents – Hearts Stamp Set that came out last month. I then mimicked those polka dots on one of my pillows. It’s so fun to customize things like this! The sentiments at the bottom come from the new Subsentiments Cozy Diecut. This is a fun way of saying I love you, and I plan to give it to my husband – it will be to him from the dogs!

This last card features a combination of the new Happy Leaves Texture Die and the Happy Leaves Panel Die. I will be featuring this card and others in an upcoming video later in the month because I do have some tips and tricks that I want to share. This card also features the Old Friend Sentiments Combo. This main sentiment is in the stamp set itself, but I love how the matching die set includes both the shadow die (if you want to stamp the sentiment) and the dies for the letters. You know I love die cutting, so I chose the letter dies. I love this happy color combo – blue and yellow just makes me think of sunshine.

I hope these cards bring a smile to your face today. As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog.

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison
