Hello, crafty friends! I have a beautiful card to share today and also some exciting news. I will be serving as a brand “ambassador” for  Altenew for the next three months. My card today features the December Craft Your Life Project Kit, which is called Whispers in the Canopy. This kit is available to non-subscribers, but if you want a discounted price, the Craft Your Life kit is a fabulous subscription. The kits include a 6″ x 8″ stamp set,  a stencil set, a 3D embossing folder, and a coordinating die set to fit the theme. There is also usually an add-on available. This month, the add-on is a matching die set for the larger words in the stamp set. My card also features a few other products, including:

I chose one of the birdhouses and one of the birds from the die set to feature on my card today. I ink blended both using several different sets of Altenew Fresh Dye Ink mini cubes, including the following:

  • Warm Gray
  • Tranquility
  • Sun-Kissed Delights
  • Delectable Delights

For the background, I used the Dotted Swirls Debossing Cover Die, which has been in my stash for years. I still love this one so much – the subtle texture it gives is amazing. I ink blended a bit of blue onto the background, and I swiped the edges with some yellow ink. Instead of hanging my birdhouse on the included branch, I decided to hang it from some gold thread. All of the gold accents on this card make it so special! And speaking of, I finished this card by splattering some gold metallic watercolor and adding a few gold pearls around the design.

I hope this card brings a smile to your face today. As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog.

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison
