Hello, friends! I am back today with more Christmas in July. This time, I am sharing some cards that I made with the July monthly club kits from Spellbinders. The July clubs are always my favorites, and this year is no exception!
As you already know, I love Spellbinders clubs. One of my favorite aspects of their clubs is that you can cancel at any time. If you don’t like the club kit next month, just cancel it! The subscription window for new members ends on the 27th of the month, assuming that the club kit(s) has not already sold out.
EARLY ACCESS
Are you already a club member or thinking of joining one of the clubs? One of the great benefits to being a club member is that you have early access to new products before they become available to the general public! Just CLICK HERE to see all of the goodies being released this month. I’ll be sharing some of my favorites over the next few weeks.
Let’s move on to my cards for today. I do have a new YouTube video sharing these cards. You can CLICK HERE to view it on YouTube, or you can view it below.
NOTE: all supplies are linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.
If you live outside of the United States/North America, you might want to head over to the Spellbinders UK website.
The July Large Die of the Month is called “Mugs & Mittens.” It features a set of hands (in mittens) holding a cup of cocoa. The cocoa can have either a snowflake in it, or there is a cute Santa and snowman, as well. I did a fun inlay technique with my hot cocoa, where I was trying to mimic the look of latte art. You’ll see in the video what I did to achieve this look. All of my stamped sentiments today come from the Clear Stamp & Die of the Month, which is called “Stay Snuggly”.
The Small Die of the Month is called “Cocoa Greetings,” and it features the cutest mugs. You can make a Santa, penguin or reindeer mug. There is a bonus die set that comes with the Deluxe Caboodle club this month called “Ginger Sip,” which will allow you to also make a gingerbread man mug!
Here is a second card that I made with the Small Die of the Month. I just had to make this reindeer into Rudolph with the little red pom pom! You’ll notice that I used some subtle patterned paper on all of my cards today. I cut panels of solid card stock for these last two cards using the Perfect Touch Rectangles die set.
I hope these cards bring a smile to your face today. Leave me a comment and let me know which card is your favorite! As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog.
Wishing you all a crafty day,
Allison
