Happy Saturday and Happy 4th of July (a day late) to my American friends. I hope you are all doing well. Today, I am excited to be sharing some cards featuring the new Magical Christmas Release from  Waffle Flower!  This is my official kickoff to Christmas in July, which is my favorite and, of course, busiest time for card making. I will be sharing some of my favorite things from this release, along with two cards.

Let’s get to my projects for today, which feature the following main products from the new release:

I do have a new video showing how I made my projects today. You can CLICK HERE to watch on YouTube, or you can view below.

NOTE: all supplies are linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.

My first card features the new Birdie Friends in Winter Die-n-stencil. These come as a bundle or separate, if preferred. There are four birds, along with the branch and then little pieces to add dimension. In my video, you’ll see how I customized mine to add even more dimension. I used the Postage Collage A6 Die to set my scene. The sentiment is the new Merry Christmas Die, which is very similar to the Just a Note Die from last month’s release. I love this mix of fonts so much. There are a lot of other details on this card, including all the ink colors, that I go over in my video, so be sure to check it out! By the way, the overall dimensions of this card are 4.25″x6″.

My second card features the fun Elf Hat Die. I love dies like this because they make it so easy to make cute and quick cards. There are no cut lines on the bottom of these dies, which allow for more design possibilities. I found some pom poms in my stash of kid craft supplies in the basement, so that’s what I chose for today’s card. I have more fun ideas, including something that I showed in the video. I will be having a future video and post with more cards using this die.

Another one of my favorites from the release is the new Woodgrain Die-n-stencil. I started a card with this stencil, which you can see me do in my video. I have now finished the card and am including the photo below. I used the fun Snowcapped Hello Word Die, along with the new Subsentiments Birdie Diecut for the subsentiment. I added a small pom pom to the birdie’s hat.

That is it for my projects today. I hope they bring a smile to your face. As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog.

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison
