Waffle Flower 2024 Sneak Peek Kit #03 and Giveaway

 

Hello, friends! I am excited to be sharing some inspiration featuring Waffle Flower’s 2024 Sneak Peek Club Kit #03! If you’re not already familiar with the Sneak Peek Club kits, they are a really fun way to get early access to products. NOTE: If you sign up for the Sneak Peek Club now, you will not receive this March kit (Kit #03) – you will receive the April kit, which will ship on April 6th. But, all of the products included in the March kit will be available at the Waffle Flower website for everyone on April 5th. As you can see in the graphic above, the March kit comes with a layering stencil set, a stamp set, and a set of subsentiments.

To start my card for today, I used the “love” die from the Oversized Love Print set to cut a piece of white card stock. I used my 6×6 grip mat to hold the letters in place while I stenciled. There are four stencils in the Wild Flowers Stencil set, which create a pattern that will cover an A2 sized panel. I did use all four stencils. However, I chose which parts of each stencil to use on my letters. I wanted to make sure that some of the bigger flowers would overlap the letters enough to see what they were. And, I also tried to make it look like a continuous pattern. I liked being able to choose which flowers went in certain places so that they would be visible on the letters. Just because you have a layering stencil set doesn’t mean you can’t make your own pattern! I really love the flowers on these stencils.

I cut a shadow layer for the “love” word out of green card stock – the same green that I used for my card base. I mounted my elements onto a panel of green polka dot paper, which comes from the fun Half-Half Dots – Enchanted Paper Pad.

One of the sentiments from the Small Sentiments Bloom Stamp Set says “Love is in bloom.” I stamped and white heat embossed this onto pink card stock and then trimmed off the word love, so that I could use it as a subsentiment for my love die cut.
