Hello, friends! I am excited to share some new products from the Simon Says Stamp July 2023 release called “ Just A Note .” As you can see in the picture above, there is so much fun to be had in this release! I already know what I’m getting – see all those new blue ink cubes?? I must have them all. For today’s release, I created several cards with products that Simon was kind enough to send me. Details for each card are below, but I do have a YouTube video where I show how I made the first set of cards. I will also have a YouTube video and blog post up in the next day or so showing how I made all the cards with the new Layering Apples Stencils – you can see the picture towards the end of this post with all of those projects. You can view today’s video below or head over to YouTube.

Note: all supplies are linked in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.

My first set of cards features the Citrus Slice Background die. This die may seem like a simple cover plate, but I had so much fun coming up with ideas with this die. Although you only see two cards here, I came up with a lot more ideas in my video. And I didn’t even cover the fun ways that you can play with inlay die cutting and shaker cards! I finished the first card (see below) with the Happy Wishes Die, the Bold Hello Sentiment Strips and some white enamel dots.

My second card with the Citrus Slice Background die features a background that I created with Nuvo Glimmer Paste. I finished this card with the Handwritten Hello Die , the Reverse Chill Sentiment Strips, and some Sparkle Spots from Trinity Stamps.

These next two cards feature the new Noted Stamp Set. This set is a lot of fun – it can be snarky or sweet! I made one of each. The snarky card above also uses the Quilted Cling Stamp that I colored with Nuvo Shimmer Powders. I finished it with the “Dream Big” die, just for an added touch of snark.

In addition to the Noted Stamp Set, the “nice” card above also features the new School Supplies Cling Stamp.

I am obsessed with the new Layering Apples Stencil set, as you can see in the picture above. I will have a new blog post and video with all of the details for these projects in the next day or so.

I hope these cards put a smile on your face today. Be sure to check out all of the other goodies and inspiration from the new Just a Note Release! As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog today.

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison

  1. WOW, WOW, WOW!!!!!!!!!! You’ve nailed it, slayed it, killed it here! I’m so impressed. Every card is a winner and every card makes me want to buy, buy, buy even when I am trying to be good, good, good! Love your apple card w/ the pink apple among the green. Love your citrus card w/ the glitter paper behind it (stunning). The two cards made with the CZ stamp/die set are also terrific… you chose such great options from the many available to include on your “check” lists. All the cards are beautiful and I am beyond impressed!
