Hello, Friends and Happy Weekend! I hope you are all doing well. I have some quick and easy cards to share with you today using some new products from The Stamp Market

During the summer, I’m always looking for ideas for quick and easy cards to send to my son at overnight camp. I still remember when I was a camper and how we used to look forward to mail call every evening. Would I get a letter that day? Or maybe even a package?? It was always a fun part of the day. This new “You’ve Got Mail” Stamp Set brings back that feeling of fun.

Making the First Card

This card could not be any easier to make. I stamped the large Hello sentiment with black ink and let it dry. I then offset the stencil and blended a rainbow of Distress Inks over it. Aaaaaand…it’s done. I added the secondary sentiment to finish it off.

Card 2 Supplies

The Stamp Market – You’ve Got Mail Stamp Set

My Favorite Things – I Miss Your Hugs Stamp Set

Simon Says Stamp – Fog Gray Ink

Pinkfresh Studio – Premium Dye Inks

Spellbinders – Platinum 6

Making the Second Card

My second card was just as easy – I just used a more pastel color palette. I also used a secondary sentiment from a My Favorite Things stamp set.  To finish this card, I trimmed the panel down and mounted it onto a Fog Gray A2 card base. The hearts are from a little bowl I keep on my desktop that I fill with random excess heart and star die cuts. It’s nice to have them ready when you need them!

One of the really fun features of the You’ve Got Mail stamp set is all of the options it gives you to decorate your envelopes. I used just a few on my envelopes, which I now need to go mail to my son and my niece! I hope these cards put a smile on your face. Leave a comment to let me know which card you like the most – bright or pastel. As always, thank you for visiting.

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison
