Hello, Friends. Happy Weekend! Today, I am sharing a fun shaker card using the Giant Happy Birthday die from Lawn Fawn.

I have had this ink-blended panel in my stash for at least a year, so I finally decided to do something with it! I didn’t have a specific direction that I was going in when I die cut the panel with the birthday die – honestly there are several things you can do once you cut out the letters. But, I decided it would be fun to create a shaker card.

I cut four panels of white card stock to be the same size as my inked panel, and then I cut those with the birthday die. That gave me four white panels with the identical empty space as my inked panel and four layers of letters to stack behind my inked letters. I glued the white panels together and did the same with my white letters. I adhered the stack of white panels to a white A2 card base, and I glued acetate to the back of my inked panel. I added several different kinds of sequins inside the “well” that was created by the stacks of white card stock, and then I glued my inked panel (with the acetate) on top. I then glued the white stack of letters into the space and offset that with the inked letters.

I added several cute little images from Hello Bluebird, which I had colored with Copic markers. I finished the card by adding some sparkling clear sequins to the background, some shimmer to the wings, and some Stickles to the mushroom cap.

And that’s it for today! Thank you so much for joining me.

Wishing you all a crafty day!

Allison
