Hello again, crafty friends! Have I mentioned lately that I’m obsessed with The Greetery? I want ALL of their things! But for now, I will have to be satisfied with the few products that I do have, including this amazing Reflections Stamp Set.

Making the Card

I started out with an A2 sized piece of Bristol Smooth Card Stock. I blended the night sky with the following Distress Oxide inks: Shaded Lilac, Villainous Potion, Prize Ribbon, Blueprint Sketch, and Black Soot. Once I was done with my blending, I watered down some Perfect Pearls (in the color Perfect Pearl) and splattered it on the panel.  I then started my stamping. I used the Blueprint Sketch and Villainous Potion to stamp the water. I used Hickory Smoke to stamp the tree reflection. And then I used the VersaFine to stamp the rest. Since I don’t have a YouTube channel (YET!), I will point you to this video from The Greetery that shows the best way to stamp these images. I love when stamp companies make it easier for us!

I finished the card by stamping the sentiment with VersaMark ink and then heat embossing with white embossing powder. I did dry my panel really well with a heat tool before embossing. The sentiment comes from the March 2020 My Monthly Hero Kit from Hero Arts. While this kit is no longer available, there is no shortage of sentiments to use for this card. I see myself using this set a lot. It will make great masculine birthday cards, Father’s Day cards, thank you cards – really, anything!

I love how this card turned out, and I hope it brings a smile to your face. Thank you so much for joining me, and I’ll see you next time!

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison
