Hello, friends and happy Friday! I am popping back in today with some fun partial die cutting techniques, along with a new video. My cards today feature the February monthly club kits from Spellbinders. The clubs this month are full of spring time inspiration that are sure to bring a smile to your face.

EARLY ACCESS

Are you already a club member or thinking of joining one of the clubs? One of the great benefits to being a club member is that you have early access to new products before they become available to the general public! CLICK HERE to see all the collections for February. I will be sharing cards starting next week featuring some of these products (releases are on February 10th).

Spellbinders is currently having a BetterPress and Glimmer Sale, with up to 50% off. Press plates, foils, inks and lots of other goodies!

Let’s move on to my cards for today. I do have a new YouTube video sharing these cards. You can CLICK HERE to view it on YouTube, or you can view it below.

The Small Die of the Month for December is called “Spring Haul,” and it is adorable. I chose to use just one tiny but mighty element from the set – the little chick. I also used the Embossing Folder of the Month called “Spring Stripes”. Because my design is clean and simple, I really wanted to do at least something unique, so I did some partial die cutting with one of the sentiments from the Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Club, called “Ears to Spring.” You can watch the video to see how the partial die cutting works.

My second card features the Large Die of the Month called “Spring Specks,” and it is so sweet. This bunny fills an A2 panel just perfectly, but I wanted to put her on a larger card base on an angle. But the bottom part of the bunny wouldn’t fill that corner, so I solved that issue by doing some partial die cutting. Again, you can check out the video to see how I did it! I heat embossed the sentiment from the Clear Stamp & Die club onto black card stock. The patterned paper is actually from a new February collection. Like I mentioned above, February releases happen on the 10th, but if you are a current club member you have early access to those releases. This paper is from the Rosie’s Studio Breakfast in Bed 6×6” Designer Paper Pack

This is somewhat of a bonus card, as it uses one of the bonus items that come with the All-Clubs Crate Membership. This is showing as sold out, but this design is a really easy one to replicate. The only elements I used from that bonus item are the stems and the flower on the left. The other flowers are from the Large Die, but just think of all the other floral sets that are in your Spellbinders stash. I picked another sentiment from the Clear Stamp and Die of the Month, and I arranged everything on the Molded Frame 3D Embossing Folder.

I hope these cards bring a smile to your face today. Leave me a comment and let me know which card is your favorite! As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog.

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison
