Hello, friends! I have the sweetest baby card to share today featuring the new Spellbinders Say Cheese Classic Pooh Baby Collection. This is another wonderful collaboration with Simple Stories, and it includes dies, a 3D embossing folder, some Press + Foil plates, and some stamps with matching die sets. There is also paper and ephemera that is available under the separate Simple Stories brand.
I started my card by making the adorable stroller from the Baby Accessories die set. I know there are a lot of different names for this – stroller, pram, carriage, buggy, etc. Whatever you may call it, it’s adorable! The part on top that folds up was cut from some of the patterned paper in the Simple Stories 6×8 paper pad. The rest was cut from various colored card stock.
The blocks were a lot of fun to make. I cut one inch pieces of white card stock and ran them through the Classic Pooh Baby Blocks 3D Embossing Folder, positioning them on the specific letters. I then used ink to color them, adding extra ink to the letters and the borders.
I used Spellbinders Alabaster card stock for the main panel, as well as the borders from the new Ribbon & Trim die set. I used more patterned paper from the Simple Stories paper pad for the bottom panel. For the “hello, baby” subsentiment, I used the Little Smiles Sentiments BetterPress Plate & Die Set, along with some gray BetterPress ink.
I love how this turned out, and I hope it brings a smile to your face today. I will be back with more from this collection soon, along with a video! As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog.
Wishing you all a crafty day,
Allison
