Hello, friends! I hope you have been doing well. First, I want to wish everyone a Happy Easter, for those who celebrate. And speaking of celebrate, it is time for the April release from  Waffle Flower, which is called “Celebrate You”. We are not just celebrating a regular month because this month marks the 3rd anniversary of the Postage Collage series! So, there are lots of new stencils, stamp sets and dies this month to add to the collection. I have a new video sharing a lot of these, where I used the following new products:

NEW VIDEO:

I do have a new video showing a bunch of the new stencils and stamps today. You can CLICK HERE to watch on YouTube, or you can view below.

NOTE: all supplies are linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.

If you watched the video, you know that I started several cards, but here is the one that I have finished. I will probably update this blog post as I finish the other cards, so come back and check those out, or you can see them as I post them to my Instagram feed.

This card features one of my favorite new products in the release – the Postage Collage Wavy Lines Stencil. Waffle Flower created a set for each size in the Postage Collage series, but you’ll see me use the A2 size today. I just love this stencil set, and I especially love how you can create little scenes in each “box” and ground them with either grass or even a beach, which you’ll see me do in my video. You can also use your Masking Corners Stencil to mask off the waves in each box and have five different colors in each box, if you want. For this card, I just used two colors from Altenew – Baby Pink and Lime. I stenciled directly onto a plain white A2 card panel and eventually cut that down to fit behind the “frame” that I made with the Postage Collage Blocks Die. This is a great die to use when you want to use Postage Collage products without the “postage” details.

I created the little scenes using the new Postage Collage Mom Silhouettes Stamp Set and black pigment ink. I think this is such a great set, and there is also a Dad Silhouettes set. I think I even used some of the tiny hearts from that set on this card (there are different tiny hearts in each set). The little die cuts that you see, including the adorable prize ribbon, come from the new Postage Collage Mom & Dad Details Combo. The stamp set does come separately, as well, but I just love cutting out some of these little elements and being able to pop them up. I used black glossy card stock for the Print Mom Word Die

POSTAGE COLLAGE DAD STENCIL:

If you watched my video, then you saw me stencil the new Postage Collage Dad Stencil at the end. I finished the whole thing in the video, but I will be finishing the actual card soon. This is where I will use the Print Dad Word Die, which is similar to the Mom die that I used on the card above. There is also a Postage Collage Mom Stencil available.

NEW! SQUARE POSTAGE SERIES:

To celebrate the 3 year anniversary of Postage Collage, Waffle Flower is starting a new series this month with a new Square Postage Die (see above for details on getting this die for free with your order this month). The new Square Postage Daffodil Stencil kicks off the series. They will add a new one each month, for a total of twelve. You can see me color this stencil in my video

I hope these projects bring a smile to your face today. As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog.

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison
