Hello, friends! It is March 10th, and that means the March collections from Spellbinders are live! I am starting with the Pink Lemonade collection, which is a collaboration with Simple Stories. In fact, I believe there are two other Simple Stories collections in this month’s release! You can check out all of the collections HERE. I have two cards to share, and they show how easy and fun it is to mix your supplies together. Both of my cards have elements from last month’s Make It & Bake It collection. I also used an older (but still available) Large Die of the Month set on one of the cards.

I used the following new products for my cards:

There are several other new collections that I will be sharing throughout the month, including Yana Smakula’s new collection, Yana’s Tulips. I have a sneak peek below, as well as in my video, of the cards that I will be sharing for that collection.

Oh What Fun! Holiday Cardmaking Event:

In case you hadn’t heard, Spellbinders is hosting both an in-person and virtual event at the end of August! CLICK HERE for more information. I am so excited! I will be at the in-person event. Leave a comment and let me know if you will be there, too!

I do have a new YouTube video sharing these cards. You can CLICK HERE to view it on YouTube, or you can view it below.

There are two die sets in this Pink Lemonade collection, and my first card features the lemonade and lemons from the main set. I combined it with the Measure Mates set from last month. The sunshine word die is also from the main set. The little flower is from the Pink Lemonade Stand Tags set. You’ll see more of this set in my video, including the adorable pinwheel.

Although this Pink Lemonade collection is a collaboration with Simple Stories, I don’t have the patterned paper yet. Shocking, right?? You know it’s on my list. But, I did use some patterned paper that I bought recently and have been excited to use. This paper is from the Woodsy Whispers pack from Aall and Create, and it’s just so fun.

My next card features the message board from the Pink Lemonade Stand. This board is the perfect size to make a shaped card with. Just for reference purposes, my card is 4.75″ x 6″. This die would also make a great easel card. There is a stamp set from Simple Stories that has some fun sentiments that you could white heat emboss on your board. But when I saw the board, I immediately thought of the letters from the Spell It Out Fridge set. This was the Large Die of the Month from May 2025, and I had saved all the extra letters that I had made last year, so I barely had to cut any new ones for this card.

Several of the elements on this card come from the Make It & Bake It collection. The cupcake/muffin and the round cookie come from the Made With Love set, and the star shaped cookie comes from the Cool It Cookie Rack. The embossed turquoise background was made with the Confection Companions 3D Embossing Folder. I added a strip of patterned paper on the left hand side of the card, just to add a bit of interest. The sentiment comes from the Fountain Wishes Sentiments. These are press plates, and I used black ink and my BetterPress system, along with the matching die.

Check out the new Locking Compartment Storage Box that Spellbinders just released. It is perfect for things like sequins, but I am using mine to store all those extra little die cuts that seem to multiply around my craft room in the middle of the night. You’ll see this in my video.

This card was a lot of fun to make, even though I myself question who the recipient would be. I mean, who am I kidding…I have stacks of cards that haven’t been sent out yet, so right now the recipient is a pile! Leave a comment and let me know if you are good about sending out cards.

At the end of my video, I gave a sneak peek at some cards that I made with Yana Smakula’s new collection called Yana’s Tulips. This is a gorgeous collection that includes the two beautiful press plates that I used for my cards. There are matching stencils, a set of sentiment press plates (shown on my cards), and a die. I will have more details on these cards soon, including a video (hopefully!)

I hope these cards bring a smile to your face today. As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog.

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison
