Hello, friends! Can you believe we are already at the end of February?! How is that possible? I am just in time to share more inspiration with the February Spring Time Release from Waffle Flower. - Postage Collage Egg Hunt Icons Die (see more places to purchase in the thumbnails below)
- Tall Grass Die
- Basketful of Bunny Duo Die-n-stencil
- Basketful Base Die

I do have a new video showing how I made my cards today. You can CLICK HERE to watch on YouTube, or you can view below.
NOTE: all supplies are linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.

My first card features adorable elements from the Postage Collage Egg Hunt Icons set. I wanted to use a fun background for this card, and I chose the Patchwork Stencil. This stencil set has 3 stencils, and I picked some fresh spring time colors. Although I love this background, I really wanted these cute chicks and basket of eggs to pop. So I cut a panel of vellum using one of the Fringe Frames dies. I also used the Fringe Frame along with the new Tall Grass Die to create some grass. The grass allowed me to hide some foam strips behind the panel so that I could lift the vellum off the card base. The further away your vellum is, the more “hidden” the background will be. You can still see it, but the focal point(s) now pop! You can watch the video to see how I added more foam behind the vellum to make sure it stayed lifted off the card base.
I finished the card with a sentiment from the new Subsentiments Egg Hunt Diecut.

My second card features the Basketful of Bunny Duo Die-n-stencil set. I put these cute bunnies in the basket from the Basketful Base Die set. The little flowers (which I also used on the first card) are from the Postage Collage Egg Hunt Icons, and they are a perfect match for this patterned paper from my stash. I also added stems to match the paper, which I found in the Postage Collage Mini Seals Die set. The cream panel in the back was cut from the Nesting Postage Collage Die set. In the video, you will see that I had initially used the two rectangular dies from this set to create a frame. I was originally going to have the frame around a piece of vellum and then put the bunnies on top, but I felt like there was so much going on with the bunnies, that I really needed that solid cream panel behind them.
By the way, if you think the bunny is cute, there is also a set of puppies. Waffle Flower also has a Basketful Bundle for those who don’t want to choose!
I hope these cards bring a smile to your face today. As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog.
Wishing you all a crafty day,
Allison
