Hello, crafty friends! The big sale at Waffle Flower is finally live! Be sure to use my code “ALLISON” at checkout for an additional 10% savings! The Black Friday sale also stacks onto the special that has been going on all month, which is free gifts with every order. Choose a gift for every $30 in your cart (before discounts), starting at just $0.01! You can still save $7 on shipping when your cart total reaches $100.

One thing to note about the Waffle Flower sale is that it includes products up to the April 2025 release. Newer releases are not included. The card that I made today features the Cool Cat Die-n-stencil from the November Pawder Day Release, which is not part of the sale. But, everything else on the card is on sale! See details for my card below.

Don’t forget the big Grab Bag Event going on at Waffle Flower, as well, which goes through November 30th.

Note: all supplies are linked in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.

The adorable cat on this card is from the Cool Cat Die-n-stencil. I started with some light brown card stock for the main die and stenciled the details onto the cat with brown ink. For the facial details, I used a bit of brown mixed with black and then I added more black to the nose. For stenciling and holding my stencil in place, I used my  7.5×11 Grip Mat. For the rest of the details on the cat, I cut the pieces from white card stock and then ink blended them using the following colors of Distress Ink: Salvaged Patina, Evergreen Bough, Kitsch Flamingo and Black Soot (for the ski poles).

The background is very subtle, but this is patterned paper from the Season’s Greetings paper pad. I chose the light blue paper with snowflakes. The blue was more of a baby blue, so I wanted to tint it. I did that by ink blending some Evergreen Bough onto the panel (which already comes as an A2 panel in the paper pack). The ink did cover up the snowflakes quite a bit, but if you look, you can spot them.

The large snowflake die is the Snowflake Cluster Die. I cut it twice so that I could stack the two layers for dimension. And speaking of dimension, I did add the cat on top of the snowflakes with foam tape. For the sentiment, I used the Snow Cheer Sentiments Combo, which includes the stamps and dies. These are also sold separately.

I hope this card brings a smile to your face today. As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog.

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison
