Hello, friends! I promised in my last video that I would be back to see if I could stamp on one of the panels I had made with Distress Oxides on glossy paper. The good news is that I was able to stamp it, and I really enjoyed making this card! It has the look and feel of mixed media for those of us who wish we could do mixed media but don’t really know where to start. And that is all thanks to the new Beautifully Imperfect Collection from Spellbinders.

If you did not catch the video where I played with Distress Oxides and glossy paper, CLICK HERE to check it out. Because I used Micro Glaze on the panels, I wasn’t sure if I could stamp on top of the glaze. I have used the glaze many times in the past but have never tried stamping. The key to stamping on top of the glaze is to use the right ink. I used Ranger Archival ink, and it worked great (other than the fact that my ink pad was almost dry)! StazOn Ink should also work. I wasn’t in love with the panel that I had created, but I knew it would work great for die cutting, and I was right! By the way, the final size of this card is 5″ x 6.25″. You can check out today’s video to see how this card came together. I used the following products:
I hope this card brings a smile to your face today. As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog.
Wishing you all a crafty day,
Allison
