Hello, friends! I am excited to be sharing my first set of cards with the new Spellbinders Christmas in July collections! There are a lot of collections that just got released, and I decided to start with something that’s a bit different for me. I played with the new Merry Moments Limited Edition Holiday Cardmaking Kit and made 10 cards! You know that I love patterned paper, and I love ephemera. But, when it comes to actually using them together, I’m more of a hoarder. I do love the annual holiday kits from Spellbinders, and this was a fun break for me from my normal card making.

As I mentioned, there are a lot of fabulous new collections, and I will be sharing inspiration throughout the month. In the meantime, you can check them all out in the New Arrivals section of the Spellbinders website. I do share a couple sneak peeks at the beginning of today’s video.

SPELLBINDERS SALE!

Spellbinders is having a huge Christmas in July Sale with past Christmas favorites. Most items are 50% off, but there are a few even bigger deals than that! Check it out because this sale is only while supplies last.

NOTE: If you live outside of the United States/North America, you might want to head over to the  Spellbinders UK website.

I have a new video sharing my cards today. You can CLICK HERE to view it on YouTube, or you can view it below.

NOTE: all supplies are linked in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.

I am not going to share details for the cards, since they all use just the card kit. I think the only things I added that weren’t in the kit were some pearl embellishments on some of the cards. There are some sequins in the kit that got buried underneath all of the “stuff,” so those didn’t make it on any of the cards. Make sure to watch the video to see all of the cards and how they came together.

I hope these cards bring a big smile to your face today. As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog.

Wishing you all a crafty day,

  1. These are wonderful! I have a question – the dark green cardstock that you used (behind the long tag on the train card), do you happen to know who makes it? Or was that part of the paper pack? Thank you, and again, marvelous cards!

    1. Thank you so much! That dark green cardstock with the ribbed lines in it has been in my stash forever, so I don’t know where it came from. I had already used most of the dark green piece that came in the kit. It has quite a bit more blue in it and is definitely a unique color from anything else I have.

  2. Thanks for the wonderful inspiration for using this kit but most of all thanks for the great tip about using acetate to test placement of stickers!

    1. You’re welcome, and thank you for visiting my blog! Just make sure not to press the stickers too hard to the acetate. The acetate that the stickers come with was the best to use.
