Hello, friends! I am excited to be sharing some of the new August release from Spellbinders. August is all about Halloween, and there are some fabulous new products! I have six cards to share today focusing on the following Halloween collections:

My first two cards feature the new Classic Mouse Halloween collection. But you know me – when I see Classic Mouse releases, I think, “will it fit my Summer Camp critters?” And the answer is usually yes! I used both the Classic Mouse Costume Party and the Classic Mouse Trick-or-Treat Accessories. The fox is from the Trailside Trio, and I used the Splash Days set to complete her cute little costume. I mounted everything on a panel from the Playful Stitched Panels and then added that to an A2 card base that I had covered with some patterned paper. The adorable sentiment is from the new Hero Arts stamp set called Bite Nite.
This card features the new Color Block Accent Rectangles, combined with the Precision Layering A2 A die set (which is what the white panel was cut from). This is just like the Color Block Accent Arches that came out earlier this year and is sure to be just as popular! I used the Classic Mouse Costume Party set again, along with the raccoon from the Trailside Trio. The hat that the bunny is peeking out of is from the Classic Mouse Wedding, which is the set that is needed to build a lot of the costumes from this new set. The sentiments are from my stash.
The next two cards feature the Halloween Hugs Collection. This is “Frank,” and isn’t he adorable? I paired him with the frame from the Memory Frames die set from the original Classic Pooh collection, along with some patterned paper. The paper in the back with the zig zag stripes (perfect for Frankenstein!) is from the Say Cheese Classic Mouse Halloween Paper Pad from Simple Stories. The sentiment is from the August Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Club called “Trick or Snark”.
This is Sir Skeleton, and he is exclusive to Spellbinders! You can’t get him anywhere else. I paired him with more patterned paper from the Say Cheese Classic Mouse Halloween Paper Pad. He is really easy to assemble, and I love how you can position the arms any way you want! This is another sentiment rom the August Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Club, and this time I used the matching die.
The next two cards feature the Midnight Mischief Collection. I will have a video showing how I made these two cards – hopefully in the next few weeks. These are very easy products to use – the fun part really is picking your backgrounds! And this background is something I made with shimmer powders. The silhouette die and sentiment are from the Boo Parade die set, and I think it’s just darling. There is another little trick or treater that is part of this die – I had to trim her off. The bats are actually from a different collection that I’ll be sharing later this month – Halloween City Holiday.
This last card features the Winged Shadows Press & Foil Plates. I foiled both the bats and the sentiment with black foil. What’s hard to tell from the picture, though, is that this is an acetate card. So, the bats are foiled on acetate, and then the sentiment is foiled on the inside card, which is patterned paper from the Craft Consortium. Again, I will be sharing this in a future video.
