Hello, friends! I am excited to be sharing more cards using products from the Spellbinders August release. The Dancin’ dies from Spellbinders are always my favorite, and the new Dancin’ Christmas Friends Collection is no exception!

I have been using so much color in my backgrounds lately, thanks to all of my ink-sprayed panels. So today I wanted to go back to white. But, I’m stepping up my white card stock to add interest and texture. There are so many different ways to do that!

Speaking of card stock, Spellbinders is currently having a “Back to School Sale” which includes 20% off the fabulous Spellbinders card stock, along with a sale on many other supplies and paper products! No code necessary, but the sale does end on August 18th 11:59 MST. I just recently purchased the “Barely Peach” card stock, which is a great color to use for light skin tone – it’s what I used for the nutcracker’s face and hands.

NOTE: all supplies are linked to multiple sources in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.

I have a new YOUTUBE VIDEO tutorial for my cards today. Click the link or you can click below to watch.

I have pictures of all my cards below, but for more details on how they came together, check out the video

My first card features the Dancin’ Moose Klondike set. He is so adorable, and he dances! I added texture to the white background using the Plaster 3D Embossing Folder

My second card features the Dancin’ Douglas set. He does not dance, and yet he is still so cute and funny! I added texture to the white background using a faux embossing technique and the Four Seasons die set

My third card features the adorable Dancin’ Gnome Alfie set. He also dances, although I did shorten his legs. I added texture to the white background using the Frozen Flurries die

My last card features the handsome Dancin’ Nutcracker Fritz set. He can’t dance (since I didn’t use his legs), but he plays the drums! I added texture to the white background using the All Wrapped Up 3D Embossing Folder

I hope these cards bring a smile to your face today. As always, I appreciate you visiting my blog!

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison
