Hello, friends! Today I am sharing two quick and easy gate fold cards that were inspired by a card that we made at the Simon Says Stamp Create Event this past weekend. I was lucky to attend the classes there, and these cards are based on the design by Jennifer McGuire, using products from Gina K, who was also a teacher! Super fun time had by all, and I’m still feeling so inspired by everything I saw and everyone I met.  The process for creating these cards is in my new YouTube video! You can view the video below. I will not go into too much detail in this post. Instead, I will share all of the images.

Note: all supplies are linked in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post.

As you can see in the supply list below, all of the main supplies used for this card are from Simon Says Stamp. For ink blending, I used Turquoise Sea and Jelly Bean Green from Gina K Designs for the first card. For the second card, I used Pinkfresh Studio inks in the following colors: Fresh Pear, Ocean Breeze, Grassy Knoll, Aquamarine, Gathered Twigs, and Marigold.

I hope these cards put a smile on your face today. If you didn’t already watch the video, I hope you’ll be able to find some time to watch it. And leave me comments here or on YouTube – I love hearing from you. I appreciate you visiting my blog today!

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison

  1. These cards are so pretty! Try spritzing a wee bit of water onto the suction cups and it should stay put better.

    1. Thank you so much, Cindy! Yes, I’m going to try using some water on the suction cups. In fact, this just reminded me to try this today!
