When you’re finished hopping, and you’re looking for more inspiration, check out the Beautiful Days Gallery on the Simon Says Stamp blog. There are galleries for each release, and we encourage you to share your creations there, as well!

I made two cards today using one of my favorite products from the Beautiful Days Release  – the Geo Flower Building Stamp Set. For both of my cards, I played around with patterns on copy paper first, and then I used those as templates to stamp my final product. I love the mod/mid century/retro vibe of this stamp set. Although, I shared a card yesterday with a Spanish tile look to it, so it is just so versatile! I have loved seeing all of the inspiration coming from the other designers, as well.

For my first card, I used two stamps from the set to create this floral pattern. I used black pigment ink and Raspberry Bliss ink from Pinkfresh Studio for my stamping. I used a ruler and a black pen to create the stems. The sentiments come from the Reverse Well Wishes Sentiment Strips set. I added a few enamel dots to finish the card.

For my second card, I used only one stamp from the set – the half circle. In addition to the two inks that I used on the first card, I brought in Sparkling Rose and Misty Coast from Pinkfresh Studio for this card. I actually mixed the Misty Coast with Soft Granite ink from Hero Arts to get the color gray I was going for. You don’t need to have every single color of ink in your stash – try mixing colors or stamping multiple times to get darker colors! The sentiment is from the new Sisters Forever stamp set, which is also part of this release. Again, I added some enamel dots to the card. I think this is the first time in forever that I didn’t use my die cutting machine to make a card. It was fun to do something different! And I love making the patterns.

Are you ready to hop along and see inspiration from all of the other designers?
