My card today features two of my favorite products from the Be Creative Release  – the Parallelogram Cling Stamp and the Big Old Birthday stamp set. I started by stamping the Parallelogram onto a panel of lavender card stock with VersaMark ink. I heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. I then blended some darker lavender ink around the edges of the panel, blending in towards the middle with a lighter hand so that there would be a “glow” effect in the middle.

I trimmed a sheet of vellum to be a bit taller than the sentiment from the Big Old Birthday set. I placed the sentiment in the middle of the vellum and stamped it with Wilted Violet Distress Oxide ink. I heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I then wrapped the vellum around my card panel, securing it on the back with double sided tape. I love using berries on cards, and while they’re not grapes, I thought the Berry Stems Die Set would be fun to use for embellishments around the sentiment. It gives the illusion of grapes, or at least that’s what I’m telling myself! I cut the leaves and vines from gold card stock and the berries from purple card stock. I used a purple alcohol marker to add some shading at the base of each berry. I glued a sheet of gold card stock to the front of an A2 card base, and then I attached my card panel on top of that. To finish the card, I added some gold pearls.
