Hello, friends. I hope your new year is off to a great start. Today, I am sharing more inspiration with the Small Die of the Month from Spellbinders. I also made a matching tag with the 3D Embossing Folder of the Month , but that one is already sold out! That was fast! Spellbinders’ clubs are getting more and more popular, so if you like what you see when they come out, make sure you act quickly. If you’re not familiar with the Spellbinders clubs, I encourage you to check them out – they are a fabulous value. I also love how well they play with existing products in your stash, and that’s what today’s card is all about!

Making the Card

I love how versatile this ampersand is from the Small Die of the Month set. I first hot foiled a white panel of card stock using the Modern Lines plate and matte gold foil. I then cut a few hearts and the ampersand and adhered them to the panel. For my sentiments, I used gold puffy stickers! I don’t usually use stickers, but I love these, especially because the set comes with capital and lower case letters. You can see the lowercase ones on the matching tag that I made. To finish my card, I scattered some flowers from the kit, as well as some tiny hearts around my design. The small hearts come from the Topsy Turvy Cake die set.

As I mentioned before, I made the tag with the new 3D Embossing Folder of the Month. I used the “Create a Decorative Tag” die for the actual tag shape. As I mentioned before, the 3D folder is now sold out, and I anticipate this will be a very popular club every month. Remember that you can cancel your Spellbinders club memberships any time, so there’s really no reason to jump on one of the clubs if you like it. If you don’t like the club kit the next month, just cancel it! And then you can rejoin the following month if you like that one. I really love how Spellbinders does that.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope this card (and tag) put a smile on your face!

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison

  1. Allison, your cards are awesome. The use of the modern lines hot foil plate behind the small die of the month is a great idea (one of my favorite hot foil plates). The second card I like how you incorporated the embossing folder. I am excited to get my kits, you are an inspiration. Thank you!
