Hello, friends – I hope you all are having a good week. I meant to post these cards yesterday, but we had a training session for our two rambunctious pups, and I’m telling you what – I was more wiped out than they were!

I started playing with this die set from Spellbinders last week, and I couldn’t really stop. There are so many design possibilities, and I haven’t even scratched the surface. What I’m sharing today is essentially the same design with different background options. What I love most about this die set is that you can make it work for any occasion.

All of my cards today are pretty straightforward, so I will only be listing supplies. If you have any questions on a specific card, just leave a comment or email me, and I’ll be happy to answer!

Card 1 Supplies

Spellbinders – Colorblock Landscape Die Set

Picket Fence Studios – Negative Sparks Cover Plate Die

MFT – I Miss Your Hugs Stamp Set

VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink

Spellbinders Platinum 6

MISTI

I just love this cover die from Picket Fence Studios. I layered it over a yellow A2 card base, and it just gives an instant look of sun rays on this card.

Card 2 Supplies

Spellbinders – Colorblock Landscape Die Set

Pinkfresh Studio – Pop Out Sunburst Die

CZ Design – With Sympathy Die

 Lawn Fawn – Pearlescent Vellum

Spellbinders Platinum 6

I love this pearlescent vellum from Lawn Fawn. From most angles, it looks just like normal, translucent vellum. But then when it catches the light, it has this beautiful aqua sheen that matches the aqua card stock on my card perfectly.

Card 3 Supplies

Spellbinders – Colorblock Landscape Die Set

Spellbinders – Sun Rays Embossing Folder

MFT – Mountain High Die-namics (Retired)

MISTI

Spellbinders Platinum 6

The sentiment that I used on this card comes from an exclusive set that I got when I participated in Concord & 9th’s 2021 C9 Summer Camp. If you haven’t heard of this virtual event, they are having another one this summer. I highly recommend it! The whole event is top notch, from the instructors to the AMAZING supplies. Click here for details on the upcoming 2022 C9 Summer Camp. And no, the supplies themselves are not camp-themed. Although, several of the ones last year did have a camp theme, which made ME a happy camper!

I hope these cards gave you some ideas on how you can easily switch up the design of a card by using a different background die or embossing folder. And most importantly, I hope they put a smile on your face!

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison
