Hello, crafty friends! I hope you are all doing well. It’s been a busy week on all fronts. I’ve been working on several projects that I’ll be sharing early next week, but yesterday I just wanted to make a quick card. Usually when I get ideas for cards, I’ll try to make note of them for later. And then, of course, I’ll forget about them or get caught up in something else. So, today I took advantage of the idea when it hit me. This card features products from The Stamp Market.

Making the Card

Each of the Big Bold Number die sets come with two dies, one of which cuts an outline for the respective number. This allows for many different design possibilities. Click here to see a card I made using these number dies to make a shaker card.

For this card, I wanted to keep things clean and simple, so I cut the main number from the patterned paper and the outline from black card stock. I adhered those together and then popped them up on foam tape to the panel that I had cut from the Pierced Plaid Cover Die. I stamped the sentiment and then cut it out with one of the stitched A2 dies from MFT. I mounted it onto a piece of black card stock so that the black border was the same size as the border on the numbers. After popping that up on foam tape, I finished the card by scattering several sparkling clear sequins around the design. The card panel itself is adhered to a light gray A2 card base.

This card was a lot of fun to make, and I love the bold, clean look of it. I suppose this could be a card for someone’s 10th birthday? But, I think it’s also great for just reminding someone how amazing they are. I hope it brought a smile to your face and reminds you how amazing YOU are. Thank you so much for joining me, and I’ll see you next time!

Wishing you all a crafty day,

Allison
